Carl R. Turner, 65, passed way Monday, Sept. 27, 2004 at Tulsa Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Turner was born Aug. 11, 1939 to Buel Lewis Turner Sr. and Cleo Genet Turner in Newport, Ark. He graduated from County Line High School in Branch, Ark. He was a retired welder and worked for Bethesda Farms.
Mr. Turner moved to Glenpool three years ago from Muskogee. He was a member of South Heights Assembly of God Church in Sapulpa.

Mr. Turner was preceded in death by his parents, Buel L. Turner Sr. and Cleo Genet Turner, and two brothers, Charles Turner and Joey Turner.

He is survived by his brothers Joe Turner and wife, Carol, Prattville, and Buel L. Turner Jr., of Sapulpa; sisters Jean Bishop and her husband, Charles, of Dover, Ark., Betty Keeton, of Hemphill, Texas and Jeri Lynn Ungrecht and her husband Jerry, of Wichita, Kan. plus many nieces and nephews.

Pall bearers for Mr. Turner will be Hunter Judd, Grant Turner, Jim Turner and Randy Judd.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. I , 2004 at South Heights Cemetery Chapel in Sapulpa. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. with the Rev. John Nelsen officiating. Committal will be at South Heights Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.
