Joe Turner Dies At 88

Joseph L. (Joe) Turner,  88, of Kellyville, died Monday at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home.

He was born Sep 19, 1888 in Missouri and had lived in Kellyville 54 years. He was a member of the Holiness church and was a farmer.

He is survived by two sons, William of Kellyville and James of Cushing; four daughter, Mary Talbert of Tulsa, Leona Ingraham of Locust Grove, Bertha Martin and Ada Thomas of Sapulpa; one sister, Ada Melton of Ontario, Calif.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm Wednesday in the Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. E. R.. Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Kellyville Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

The family will headquarter at the Thomas residence, 924 S. Adams.
