Mr. Charles "Pete" Troxell, 69, of Spavinaw, died Sunday at Saint Francis Hospital, Tulsa.

Services are set for 2 pm Wednesday at Smith Funeral Chapel with Rev. LeRoy Sewell officiating.

Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Gardens.

He was born Jan 2, 1919, in Sapulpa.

Mr. Troxell was a former Talala, OK resident and lived in Spavinaw for the past eight years. He was a machinist and former employee of the Frisco Railroad for 15 years. He worked for Public Service Co. for 26 years and was a member of the Assembly of God, Order of Eastern Star #462, a 32nd degree Mason in the Red Fork Masonic Lodge, Blue Lodge, Scottish Rite and a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association.

He was preceded in death by a grandchild.

Survivors include wife Alta; mother Mary of Sapulpa; sons Leroy of Tulsa and Jack of Owasso; daughters Louise Davis of Prattville, Judy Brittain of Cherryhill, NJ and Rebecca Waggoner of Delaware, OK; sisters Pauline Bullock of Tulsa, Eva Adelblue and Kathryne Ruth, both of Sapulpa, Maxine Nealson of Lake Tahoe, NV, and Effie Lisenly of St. Louis, MO; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
