Bristow - Mr. James 'Jimmy' Evans Thrash, 84, of Bristow died Sunday at Saint Francis Hospital, Tulsa.

Services were Tuesday at Free Will Baptist Church, Bristow, with the Rev. Gene Jackson officiating.

Burial was in Kellyville Cemetery under the direction of Schumacher Funeral Home, Bristow.

Mr. Thrasher was born June 11, 1904, in Stroud, Okla. He was a retired mail carrier for the Kellyville area and retired from Douglas Aircraft.

He married Mildred Fogle in February 1968, and moved from Kellyville to Bristow in 1971.

Mr. Thrash was a member of Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include wife Mildred; son Jerry Lee of Kellyville, and two grandchildren.
