Hazel Thompson, 78, of Sapulpa died Saturday at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 am Tuesday at Lee and Walnut Church of Christ with Howard Horton officiating.

Burial will follow at South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

She was born October 22, 1913 in Olathe, Kansas and was a Sapulpa resident since 1928. Mrs. Thompson was a member of the Lee and Walnut Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Willard Thompson in 1982.

Survivors include son Donald Thompson of Tulsa; and two grandsons.

Burial followed under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Casketbearers were Tommy Williams, Guy Williams, Kenneth Heath, Paul Ruth, Kenneth Ray Ruth, Donald Kramer and Ray Dean Smith.
