Everett Alford Thomas, 88, of Allen, died Thursday at St. John’s Medical Center in Tulsa.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 am Monday, at Green Hills Memorial Gardens Chapel with Rev. T. Howard Allen officiating.

Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

He was born January 18, 1904, to James and Arabell Harvey Thomas in Stephens County. He married Barbara Curtis Thomas in October 1978. A World War II veteran, he lived in the Sapulpa area fifteen years. He was a retired self-employed concrete contractor and an avid horseman.

Survivors include his wife Barbara Curtis Thomas; sons, Everett E., Jr. and Kenneth, both of Tulsa; daughters Margie Elliff and Marie Bentley of Tulsa; step-daughters, Betty Tiger of Norman and Janis McCarn of Allen; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
