McCloud, Oklahoma – Arthur H. Thomas, 82, McCloud, died Tuesday at St. John Medical Center, Tulsa.

Graveside services were today at Oakwood Cemetery in Mounds, with the Rev. Casey Adams officiating. Burial was under the direction of Hutchins-Maples Funeral Home in Bristow.

Mr. Thomas was born February 7, 1907 in Walters, Oklahoma, was a retired construction worker and farmer and was a Baptist.

He married Francis Leta Barnhill in Walters and moved to Creek County in 1936.

He was preceded in death by wife Francis on December 11, 1988 and son Arthur Wayne Thomas in 1988.

Survivors include son Warren Donald Thomas of McCloud; daughter Audrey Howard of Oklahoma City; brother Evert Thomas of Allen, Oklahoma; sister Maynola Lewman of Sapulpa; and five grandchildren.
