Oakhurst – Kermit F. Thiel, 75, Oakhurst, died Friday at Hillcrest Medical
Center in Tulsa.
Services are scheduled for 2 pm Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home with the Rev. T.
Howard Allen officiating. Burial is pending.
Mr. Thiel was born May 12, 1914, near Harper, Kansas, served in the U.S. Army
Corps after 30 years as a core driller.
He married Bera Mae on December 20, 1964, in Bristow and had lived in Oakhurst
for the past 35 years.
Survivors include wife Bera of the home, brothers Dale of Harper, Kansas, and
Emmitt of Tulsa, sister Ione of Harper, Kansas.
