Mr. Edward L. Stoneking, 80, 1806 S. Water, died Monday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Services are pending with Owen Funeral Home.

Mr. Stoneking was born Oct 6, 1907, in Bendick, Kan., and retired from the Frisco Railroad in 1973 as a computer operator.

He was a member of the Sapulpa First United Methodist Church, the Friendship Class at the church, the church choir, Alpha Gamma Rio at Kansas State University and a charter member of the Sapulpa B.A.S.S. Club.

He was also a former teacher and played semi-professional football in his younger days.

Survivors include son Karl E. of Duluth, Ga.; daughters Barbara Weaver of Sapulpa and Peggy Riley of Kansas, Okla.; brother Raymond of Kansas City, Kan.; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
