KIEFER - Bertha Leona (Bertie) Sorrell, 43, of Kiefer, died Saturday at her home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 am Wednesday at North Heights Freewill Baptist Church with the Revs. Sam Gober and W. C. Hamilton officiating.

Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

She was born May 18, 1948, in Sapulpa, and was a lifelong area resident.

Survivors include husband, John; son Jown W. Sorrell; daughters DeAnna Sorrell, Kimberline Sorrell and Cynthia Sorrell, all of Kiefer, and Sharon Evans of the home; brothers Charles Ernst and Wesley Jones, both of Sapulpa, James Jones of Tulsa and Harry Jones of Mannford; sisters Mary West, Roxie Ruth, Alma Faye Perkins and Violet Clark, all of Sapulpa; and 10 grandchildren.

KIEFER - Casket bearers were Harold Parker, Kelly Powers, Danny Reed, Bill Hufft, Brian Capehart and Robert Sorrell.

Honorary bearers were Chris Ford, Kyle Ragland and Rocky Jones.
