Orthy T. (Shug) Sherrill, 86, died May 29, 1991 at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 pm Friday at Green Hills Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. John Bartels officiating.

Burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Gardens.

He was born January 29, 1905 in Melbourne, Arkansas and married Gladys Clifft on October 14, 1923 in Myron, Arkansas. He has lived in Sapulpa for 65 years, owned a service station, worked at Liberty Glass Company, and was a Baptist.

Survivors include wife Gladys and a daughter Mrs. Darell (Armilda) Avra of Sapulpa. 2 grandchildren; Gary Avra of Sapulpa and Carol Barham of Ft. Smith, AR, 5 great-grandchildren: Deanna Avra and Tami Wolfe of Sapulpa, Holly Fisher and John Fisher of Tulsa and Katie Fisher of Ft. Smith, Ark., and a great-great-granddaughter Alexis Wolfe of Sapulpa.

Funeral services for Orthy T. (Shug) Sherrill were held today at Green Hills Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. John Bartels officiating.

Burial followed at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Mr. Sherrill, a longtime Sapulpa resident, died Wednesday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.
