Former Sapulpan Charles C. Saner, 71, of Oklahoma City died Tuesday at Four Season Nursing Center, Oklahoma City.

Services are scheduled for 10 am Friday at The Village Baptist Church, 10600 N. May, Oklahoma City, under the direction of DeMuth Funeral Home, Oklahoma City.

Graveside services and burial are scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday at Green Hills Memorial Gardens.

He was born Jan 9, 1919, in Sapulpa and graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1936.

Mr. Saner served three years in the Navy during World War II. He was an aviation machinist mate, first class.

He retired from Mountain Fuel in Rock Springs, WY in 1980. He was a member of The Village Baptist Church., Oklahoma City.

Survivors include wife Doris; daughters Carolyn Tedder of San Clemente, CA, and Susan Berry of Tulsa; sons Carl of Playa D Ray, CA, Clifford, Chris and Charlie, all of Rock Springs, and Robert Patrick of Lodi, CA; sister Irene Coley of Sapulpa; brother Earl Saner of Wichita, KS; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
