Luehen V. Rutledge, 57, Sapulpa, died Thursday at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.

Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. No services are planned.

He was born Oct. 23, 1935, in Marble City. An area resident for 15 years, he married Thelma Jackson on Aug. 23, 1986, in Sapulpa. Rutledge was an U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War, a former employee of the Pepsi-Cola Company and a equipment mechanic.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma; mother, Lucy Adamson of Central, NM; son, Ed Rutledge of Sapulpa; daughters, Sandy Hobbs of Shawnee and Phyllis Maxwell of Atascadero, CA; brother, Herb Rutledge of Dayton, NV; sisters, Vickie Rohr of Fallon, NV, Roslin Ashcraft, Fran England, Kathy Dupont, Wilma Hays and Lou Merrill; and thirteen grandchildren.
