Owen J. Rush, 72, of Jenks, died Today at Tulsa Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Monday at Green Hills Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Troy Hayes officiating.

Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Mr. Rush was born May 29, 1918, in Sapulpa, and was a lifelong area resident. He married Ella Thompson in Okmulgee in 1938. He was a Baptist.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He worked in the oil fields and later retired from Bartlett-Collins Glass Co.

Survivors include wife, Ella; daughters Barbara Trusen and Ruth Henson, both of Glenpool; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
