Accident Victim
Dies of Injuries
In Local Hospital

Mrs. Stella Root, 411 S. Main street, 83-year-old Sapulpa woman who was struck by a car at the intersection of McKinley and Main street last Wednesday passed away this morning at 9:20 in a Tulsa hospital.

Miss Mary Zartludes, driver of the car which struck the Sapulpan, was traveling north on Main street when the accident occurred.

Her father and brother, James Zartludes, and son Jerry, witnessed the accident.

A report made by Miss Zartludes at the city police station said that a car in front of her turned right at the intersection immediately prior to the accident and that she did not see Mrs. Root until the car struck her.

Funeral plans for the aged Sapulpan will be announced by Harrison Funeral Home.
