Mrs. E. R. (Volita L.) Roberts of Sapulpa died Sunday at the St. John Medical Center at the age of 83.

Mrs. Roberts was born Nov 20, 1914 in Bristow to Norman and Lula Magee Tunnell. Sister Roberts had lived in this area most all of her life.

She graduated from Oilton High School in 1935 and was a minister’s wife.

She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. E. R. Roberts.

Survivors are two children, Collen and husband, Ron Johnston of Sapulpa and Sharon and husband, Bob Granger of Delray Beach, FL; 2 grandchildren (named) and 1 great grandchild; and her brother, Donald Tunnell.

Funeral services for Mrs. Roberts have been set for Thursday in the South Heights Assembly of God Church. Interment will follow in the South Heights Cemetery. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
