Mrs. Melvin D. (Janette) Richard, 66, of 203 N. Mounds died Thursday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Services are pending with Smith Funeral Home.

She was born Jan 2, 1922, in LaRose, La., and moved to Sapulpa from Oregon in 1978.

Mrs. Richard was a homemaker and a Baptist.

Survivors include husband Melvin; son Melvin of Mounds; daughters Wanda Crosby of Jefferson, Ore., and Mary Jo Thrasher of Sprague, Texas; 17 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
