Babe Rice's brother, Jack, dropped dead on the street in
Sapulpa. Babe is attending the funeral today.

Former Sapulpa Police Sergeant Drops Dead on Street
SAPULPA, Dec 17 - Jack Rice, 60 years old, a pioneer resident of
this city and until last July 1 desk sergeant at the police
station, dropped dead here this afternoon at 5:45 o'clock.
Recently Rice had been operating a cafe here and when he
suffered his fatal attack was en route from his home to his
place of business. Funeral arrangements are pending, receipt of
word from relatives.
