Reid Reburial Planned Today

DUNCAN, Dec. 13—(Special) Services will be in the First Methodist church at 2:30 pm Tuesday for Capt. John Edward "Buddy" Reid, who was 25 when he was killed In Germany during the war.

He was born' In Oilton and graduated from Duncan high school. After two years in the University of Oklahoma and three with the Magnolia Petroleum Co. in Salem, Ill,; he entered service in June, 1941.

Reid was commissioned at Fort Sill in 1942 and went overseas In February 1944.

Survivors are his mother. Mrs. E. P. Reid, and a brother, J. Paul Reid, both of Duncan.
