Mr. John E. Redden, 57, 807 N 8th, died Saturday at Saint Francis Hospital, Tulsa, from injuries sustained in a March 17th automobile accident.

Services are set for 2 pm Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home with the Rev. T. Howard Allen officiating.

Burial with full military rites performed by the Sapulpa Veterans organizations will be at Green Hills Memorial Gardens.

Casket bearers will be provided by the Sapulpa Veterans organizations.

He was born Sep 18, 1930, in Tiawah, Okla., and moved to Sapulpa from Claremore in 1961.

Mr. Redden was employed at Liberty Glass Company. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was a lifetime member of the Sapulpa Veterans Foreign Wars and the Sapulpa Disabled American Veterans.

He married Viola Blaylock on May 29, 1966, in Sapulpa.

Survivors include wife Viola; sons Harold Gowen of Tulsa and Chief James Cruse of Sapulpa and stationed at Virginia Beach; daughters Jessie Johnson of Sapulpa, Goldie Strang of Greenville, TX, Linnda Maddux and Ada Allison, both of Tulsa and Yhulonda Arthur of LaRussell, Mo; brothers Luther and Douglas, both of Tiawah, and Lewis C. of Sapulpa; sister Fannie Knight of Tiawah; 18 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
