Maudie N. Ranney, 78, Route 2, died Sunday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center

Services are scheduled for 10:30 am Wednesday at Owen Funeral Chapel with the Revs. Jim Brisendine and Willie Barnett officiating.

Burial will be at the Mounds Cemetery.

She was born April 14, 1911, in Stone County, Ark., and moved to Sapulpa as a child. She married Charlie Ranney, was a housewife and attended the Church of the Living God in Sapulpa.

Mrs. Ranney was preceded in death by Mr. Ranney in 1969.

Survivors include mother Annie Merrell of Sapulpa; son Fred Woods of Talihina, Okla; daughter Colleen Thomas of Yunish, Okla; sister Dorothy Tatum of Sand Springs; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

The family will be headquartered at 513 N. Qu___n.
