Mr. Earl Eugene Ragland, 68, of Sapulpa, died Saturday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Service will be at 2 pm Tuesday in Owen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. T. Howard Allen officiating.

Burial will be in the Green Hill Memorial Garden.

Mr. Ragland was born on Aug 7, 1920, in Kiefer, and had been a life resident of the area. He was a retired Liberty Glass Co. machine operator and served in the U.S. Army in World War II. He was a member of the South Heights Baptist Church.

Mr. Ragland, and the former Lorene Ashworth were married in Sapulpa on July 21, 1940. He had been a lifelong resident of the Kiefer and Sapulpa areas.

Survivor include his wife Lorene of the home; son David of Sapulpa; daughter Shirley Evans of Sapulpa; brother Frank of Claremore; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
