PHIPPS, BOBBY L. 7 July 1931 - 21 March 1999
BOBBY L. PHIPPS, 67, of Modesto, died Sunday, March 21, at Doctors Medical
Center, Modesto.
Mr. Phipps was a native of Edna, Oklahoma. He lived in Modesto 41 years. He
owned and operated B&B Delivery for 10 years. He was an Air Force veteran of
the Korean War; he had been a prisoner of war.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Phipps of Modesto; children, Stoney Lee Phipps
and Holly Ann Phipps, both of Modesto; stepdaughter, Audrey Bunch of Ceres;
mother, Nellie Phipps of Bakersfield; brother, Ben Phipps of Bakersfield, and
sister, Hazel McNutt of Bakersfield.
A graveside service was conducted at Lakewood Memorial Park, Hughson, California
on March 25, 1999.
