Tulsa - Police searched Saturday for three men accused in the shotgun slaying of a Sapulpa woman during an apparent robbery in east Tulsa Friday night.

The body of Jeanette Perry, 46, was found by her mother Friday night in a back room of the Lucky Seven Liquor store, 11126 E. Admiral Place, about 8 pm. Police said Ms. Perry, a store clerk, was shot once in the chest.

Perry’s mother, whose name was not available, came to the store to help her daughter before the 9 pm closing. Police Sgt. Rod Hummel said the woman saw three men inside the store.

“She didn’t see her daughter. The three guys in the store came outside,” he said.

The suspects were described as black, two in their teens or early 20's and one in his 30's or 40's. A composite drawing is expected to be put together based on descriptions from Perry’s mother and another witness who was in the store prior to the robbery.

Police said the cash register in the store indicated that someone had been trying unsuccessfully to open it. No preliminary indication of loss from the store was available.
