Mr. Joseph A. Peeples, 82, Route 4, died Monday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Services are pending with Owen Funeral Home.

He was born on Jan 13, 1906, in Fordyce, Ark., and moved to Sapulpa in 1943 from the Sand Springs area.

He married Fannie Reagan on April 15, 1932, in Sapulpa.

Mr. Peeples was an oil field worker for the Geiger Oil Co.

Survivors include wife Fannie; step-son Buster Bradshaw of San Antonio, Texas; daughter Joan Wolfe of Sapulpa, brother Everett O. (Hub) of Sand Springs; sister Lenora Kennett of Elba, Ala; 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

The family will headquarter at the home of Joan Wolfe, northwest of Sapulpa.
