Mr. L. W. "Pat" Patterson, 78, 1305 S. Poplar, died Wednesday at Hillcrest Medical Center, Tulsa.

Graveside services will be 10:30 am Friday at Bixby City Cemetery with the Rev. Archie Rivers officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

Casket bearers will be Don Sumter, Chris Sumter, Lew Andrews and Jim Dugger.

Mr. Patterson was born Aug 28, 1909, Ozark, Ark. He worked for Gulf Oil Company and retired after 30 years service.

He married Ione Ryan on March 15, 1958, in Muskogee.

In 1969, Mr. Patterson moved to Sapulpa from Glenpool.

He and his wife owned the Wholesale Petroleum Company on South Main Street until recently.

Survivors include wife, Ione, and daughter Patsy D. Luff of Glendale, Calif.
