A Tulsa woman was killed and another person was injured when their car struck the rear of a tank truck watering newly placed sod on New Sapulpa Road, also known as Route 66.

The patrol said passenger Eulah R. Patrick, 69, of Tulsa was dead at the scene of the accident near Sapulpa.

Bill E. Patrick, 84, of Tulsa, the driver of the car, was in serious but stable condition in a Tulsa hospital.

The patrol said seat belts were in use in both the car and the truck.

The patrol said Charlie P. Limore, 80, of Muldrow died in a separate accident Monday when the pickup truck he was driving attempted a U-turn from the shoulder of Oklahoma Highway 9 in Haskell County and pulled into the path of a car.

The driver of the car was treated and released.
