Mr. William H. "Bill" Owens, 69, of Oakhurst died Sep 1 [1987] in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Born Sep 23, 1917, in Missouri, Owens was an oil field truck driver for many years. He was a disabled veteran, having served in the armed services during World War II, and a member of the DAV, Chapter 32 in Tulsa.

Graveside services were held at 2:30 pm Sep 5 in Evergreen Cemetery of Republic, MO, with the Rev. Calvin C. Owens officiating.

Arrangements were by Ayre-Goodwin Funeral Home of Springfield, MO.
