OWENS, ALFRED L. 1 March 1918 - 12 May 1999

ALFRED LEE OWENS, 81, of Ceres, died Wednesday, May 12th, 1999, at Doctors Medical Center, Modesto, California

Mr. Owens was a native of Oilton, Oklahoma. He lived in Ceres 51 years. He was a carpenter for Stanislaus County for five years. He was a member of the Ceres Christian Church. He was an Army veteran, serving in 1945.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred Owens of Ceres; son, Travis Owens of Hughson; brothers, Frank Owens of Stroud, Oklahoma, and R. B. Owens of Lawton, Oklahoma; sister, Agnes Brewer of Stroud, Oklahoma, and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 18th, at Lakewood Funeral Home, Hughson, California, with burial following at Lakewood Memorial Park, Hughson, California.
