OCKERMAN, Overton T.

Word has been received of the death of Overton T. Ockerman, 84, Bremerton,
Wash., on September 24, in Bremerton.
Funeral services were held at 3 pm September 28, at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral
Home.
Burial followed at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of
Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home.
He was born Dec. 27, 1907, in Kingston. He married Myra Vest on Sept. 13, 1930,
in Tecumseh. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. An oil field
employee, he retired in 1972. He moved to Bremerton, Wash., from Seminole. His
hobbies included fishing and boating.
Survivors include his wife, Myra; son, Wayne Ockerman of Bremerton, Wash.;
brothers, Bill Ockerman of Seminole, Jack Ockerman of Sapulpa and Roy Ockerman
of Dumas, Texas; sisters, Eva Lutz of Sapulpa, Marguerite Winston of Jenks,
Dorothy Bell of Sapulpa, and Patty Jo Groover of Tulsa; three grandchildren and
four great-grandchildren.
