Robert Eugene McGuire, 65, Route 1, died Tuesday, Aug. 22, 1995 at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Sapulpa, with Bishop Sterling Ming officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, directed by Owen Funeral Home. He was born April 9, 1930 in Cincinnati, OH to Earl Lee and Ruth Scott McGuire.

He married Geraldine Tucker on Nov. 18, 1950 in Kingman, AZ.

He moved to Sapulpa from California. He worked for Rockwell International in Tulsa as an aircraft bonder until he retired in 1993. He was a high priest in the Mormon Church.

Survivors include his wife, Geraldine, of the home; three sons, Mark McGuire and Patrick McGuire, both of Sapulpa, and John McGuire, Broken Arrow; three brothers, Ed McGuire, Biloxi, MS, Jack McGuire, Westmoreland, TN, and Billy Don Thompson, Alaska; a sister, Doris Anderson, Kiefer; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday and the casket will not be opened at the service.
