Mrs. McDaniels Is Taken By Death

Mrs. Gene (sic) McDaniels, wife of W. E. McDaniels, former oil field worker, died this morning at 5 o'clock at her home, 111 East Thompson avenue, from an illness of several years.

Mrs. McDaniels had been in a critical condition for several years and during the past year death was expected at any time. She lived here a number of years.

Surviving are her husband and a sister Mrs. McCuaig of Ottawa, Canada. Funeral arrangements have not been completed. After word is received from relatives, the time of the service will be announced by the Lewis and Landrith Funeral Home.

Sapulpa Woman Laid to Rest Here Today

Last rites for Mrs. Jean McDaniels, wife of W. E. McDaniels were held this afternoon at 3 o'clock at the First Methodist Church. Rev. C. Fred MacLean, pastor of that church preached the funeral sermon.

Burial was made in the South Heights cemetery with the arrangements completed by the Lewis and Landrith funeral home.

Pallbearers were L.J. Burt, E. E. Cowman, J. E. Linsdale, William Sidwell, Fred Lucas and Albert Rankin. Members of the Women's Bible class were honorary pallbearers.

Mrs. McDaniels died Monday morning at her home, 111 East Thompson avenue. She had been ill several years.

The deceased was born, November 15, 1874 at Bristol, Quebec, Canada. she was converted in early childhood and united with the Presbyterian church. Later in June 1925, she changed her church relations and together with her husband united with the Methodist Episcopal church of this city.

She was married February 11, 1911. She was graduated from the Keokuck Ia., Medial and Dental college of Surgery and practiced in her chosen profession for several years at Haileyville, OK.

She leaves to survive her, her husband, her only sister Mrs. Janet McCuaig of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
