Kyle Lewis Mathews, 12, of Sapulpa, died Thursday, Nov. 2, 1995, in St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa.

Services for Mathews have been scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at the South Heights Baptist Church with pastor Todd White officiating. Burial is scheduled to follow at the South Heights Cemetery.

Mathews was born July 4, 1983, in Claremore. He was a sixth grade student at Sapulpa Middle School and was an offensive lineman for the Little Chiefs Football team.

He was a member of the South Heights Baptist Church and played baseball.

He is survived by his parents, Wayne and Ginger Mathews; a sister, Jennifer, of the home; his grandparents, Judy Burgess and Wayne Pendergrass, both of Glenpool, and Carroll and Wynema Mathews of Kiefer; and his great grandparents, Jim and Margie Blackford and Beulah Pendergrass, all of Glenpool.

Services are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Lonny Goodman, Jerry Olsen, Greg Davis, Rick Blanchard, Rick Meacham, Larry Eberle, Harvey Ugland and Jim Bracken. Members of the sixth-grade Sapulpa Little Chiefs Football team served as honorary pallbearers.
