Dr. Winfred W. Lusk, 66, of Glenpool, died Wednesday at the Claremore Veterans Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 am Monday at Owen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dale Parker officiating.

Burial will follow in South Heights Cemetery.

Mr. Lusk was born Jan 9, 1925, in Dewey. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1949 as a pharmacist and graduated from the University of Texas Dental School in 1959.

He married Margaret Hubbard on Dec 17, 1955, in Bristow.

He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II and was a retired Lt. Colonel in the U. S. Air Force Reserve. Dr. Lush worked as a dentist in many Veterans Administration hospitals.

He had lived in the Sapulpa area since 1975, moving from New Orleans, La., and was a member of Winwood Hill Church of Christ in Dallas and the American Dental Association.

Survivors include wife Margaret; son Winfred W. Lusk, Jr. of Glenpool; daughter Lori Wilkerson of Glenpool; brothers Lyman Lusk of Oklahoma City, Clarence Lusk of Waco, Texas, and Dudley Lusk of Chicago, Ill.; sister Joreta Campbell of Irving, Texas; and three grandchildren.

The family will headquarter at the Lusk residence in Glenpool.

Funeral services were held today for Dr. Winfred Wilbur Lusk at Owen Funeral Chapel with Dale Parker officiating.

Burial followed at South Heights Cemetery.

Casketbearers were Steve McMunn, Marc McMunn, Terry Kiefer, Tom Nation, Robert Nation and Scott Shipman.
