Mr. Bernard L. Long, 63, Oakhurst, died Tuesday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Graveside services will be 2 pm Monday at South Heights Cemetery under the direction of smith Funeral Home.

He was born Jan 30. 1925, in St. Louis. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran.

Mr. Long was a member of the Catholic Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1320. He was self-employed as a truck driver.

Survivors include wife Martha; son Nolan D. of New Mexico; daughters Janie Marie of Grand Junction, Colo., Amanda of Lyle, P. A.; Dora Ann of Moore, Okla., and Denise Lynn of New Mexico; step-son George Freggie; step-daughters Bobbie Cross, Delores Sparks and Ethel King; and three sisters.
