KELLYVILLE — Mrs. Newman (Ruby) Littlebear, 59, Kellyville, died Tuesday at
Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.
Her body will be taken to Pickett Chapel Indian Methodist Church at 5 pm today
and a prayer service is scheduled for 7 pm with the Revs. Roy Bigpond and John
Fixico officiating. Funeral services will be 1 pm Thursday at the church with
the Revs. Joe Lowe and Thomas Long officiating.
Burial will be at the George Family Cemetery, south of Bluebell, under the
direction of Smith Funeral Home.
She was born Aug 24, 1929, in Kellyville and lived there all of her life. Mrs.
Littlebear was a member of the Pickett Chapel Indian Methodist Church.
Survivors include husband Newman; father William Littlehead; daughter Linda
Harjo of Sapulpa; sons Clifford and Grant both of the home and Keith and Mark
both of Kellyville; brothers Willia Littlehead and Alfred Littlehead both of
Shawnee, Okla.; sisters JoAnna Walker of Midwest City, Okla., Winifred Robertson
of Tyler, Texas, Linda Powell, Wanetta Wakolee, Josephine Crech, and Amy
Hillebrand all of Shawnee and Mary Gairone of Denver; and 12 grandchildren.
