Mrs. Verdie (Nettie Lucille) Lightfoot, 78, 1311 E. McKinley, died Sunday at her home following an extended illness.

Services will be 10:30 am Wednesday at Country Chapel Church of God with the Revs. Clyde Close and Charles Powell officiating.

Burial will be at Green Hill Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

She was born Aug 10, 1911, in Sapulpa and lived here all her life.

Mrs. Lightfoot was a member of the Church of God.

Survivors include husband Verdi; daughters Deanie (Dee) Ashley and Dorothy Nichols, both of Sapulpa; sisters Dorothy Young and Pearl Busbee, both of Sapulpa, and Hattie Buchanan of California; 18 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

The family will headquarter at the family home, 1311 E. McKinley.
