MABEL LEAR

Mrs. John (Mabel) Lear, 84, 1119 E. Bryan, died Friday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Services will be 10:30 am Monday at Owen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. T. Howard Allen officiating.

Burial will be at South Heights Cemetery.

She was born September 24, 1904, in Oklahoma City. She married John Lear May 1, 1923, in Tulsa.

Mrs. Lear moved to Sapulpa from Oklahoma City 66 years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of the Limestone Baptist Church of Prattville. She also attended and taught Sunday school at the Forest Hills Baptist Church in Sapulpa. She was also a member of the Get Together Cub in Sapulpa.

Survivors include husband John; sons Freddie Lear of Sapulpa and Leonard Lear of Whitesboro, Texas; daughters Myrtle Gubas of Sapulpa and Deloris Keegan of Bedford, Texas; brothers Harry Porter of Sand Springs, John Porter of Prattville and Louis Porter of Catoosa; sisters Joshine Livacy of Tulsa, Mary Jane Crussel of Colorado and Daisy Jones of Sapulpa; 9 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family will headquarter at the John Lear Home, 1119 E. Bryan.
