Bobby Rex Lawson went home to be with the Lord Saturday June 12, 1999 in Eustace, Texas. He was 66 years old.

Bob was born July 24, 1933, in Kellyville, to the late Rev. James Harris and Dessie Josephine Lawson.

He graduated from Shawnee High School, in Shawnee, in 1951 and then served with the U.S. Air Force in Japan for 4 years.

He graduated from college in Okmulgee. He then went to work for Hartford Steam Boiler Co. in 1966 and worked for 30 years until he retired in 1996.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Lawson, of the home in Eustace, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Ted Clark and their children, Dustin, Aaron and Shane of Midlothian, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Gail Lawson and their children, Cheyanne, Mindy and T. C. of Mesquite, Texas. Step-children Glen and Vicki Ketner, their children, Jeffery, Sharon, Amber, Michael, Joseph and Tyler of Fresno, Calif. Mark and Kerri Ketner and their twins Rebecca and Victoria of Fresno, Calif., Elizabeth and Michael Johansen and their children, Coleman, Cassie, Cortney, and Alyson of Mesa, Ariz.; loving brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Blanche Lawson of Sapulpa, Loving sisters, Geraldine and Henry Ford of Commerce, Okla., Janie and James Jackson of Sapulpa. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Lester Charles Lawson, and sisters, Edith Mae McGuire, Susan Victoria Lawson, Wilma Jean Lawson.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Westside Free Baptist church, with Rev. Millard McGuire officiating. Interment in Sunrise Cemetery, Kellyville.

Bearers are Kenneth Martin, Fred Massey, Sam Byers, Ellis Braiser, Dee Freeman and Martin Mary. Honorary bearers are Charles McGuire, Phillip McGuire, Leon McGuire, Larry McGuire, Lester Lawson, L. D. Lawson and Jim Jackson.
