JENNIE KING
McALESTER - Miss Jennie King, 92, McAlester, died Sunday at Colonial Park
Nursing Home, McAlester.
Graveside services will be 2 pm Tuesday at South
Heights Cemetery, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
She was born July 10, 1897, in Lamont, Kans.
Before retirement, Miss King worked as a practical nurse in Tulsa and
California. She had lived in Oklahoma since 1921 and resided in Sapulpa for
several years.
Survivors include brother George L. King of Muskogee; sisters Hettie Holt of
Newport, Ark., Lynn Woodruff of Sapulpa and Frances Bennett of McAlester.
The family will headquarter at Mrs. Woodruff’s home, 800 E. Bryan.
