King, Winnie F.

Winnie Fred King, 81, of rural Sapulpa, died Monday at her home.

No funeral services have been scheduled.

Burial is scheduled at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

King was born July 25, 1912 in Arkansas to Wesley Hartwell and Jane Butcher Mizer. She was a resident of Sapulpa the last 49 years of her life, coming from Kellyville. She was a Baptist and a member of the North Heights Missionary Church. She was married Feb. 8, 1940, to Everett Henry King, who preceded her in death in 1979. She was a licensed practical nurse with Bartlett Memorial Medical Center prior to her retirement in 1982.

Survivors include daughters Shirley Armstrong and Stella Neal, both of Sapulpa; brother Winston Mizer of Georgia; sister Elizabeth Hollingshad of Sapulpa; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

A memorial service for Winnie King is to be held at Green Hills Mausoleum under the direction of Owen Funeral Home at a time to be announced later.

Memorial services for Winnie Fred King are to be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens Chapel with Rev. Millard McGuire officiating under the direction Owen Funeral Home.
