Clyde Neal Kincanon, 69, Bristow, died Friday, Aug. 18, 1995 at his home.

Services were today at the First Church of God in Bristow with the Rev. Merlin Mosher officiating. Burial was in Bristow City Cemetery, directed by Hutchins-Maples Funeral Home, Bristow.

He was born July 30, 1926 in Iredell, Texas, to Robert E. and Zora Jessie May Kincanon.

He married Venice Mae Weaver in Odessa, Texas, on Feb. 16, 1949.

He attended High School in Odessa. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and received two Bronze Stars plus other medals. He and his wife moved to Bristow from Odessa and lived there for almost 40 years. He was a self-employed general contractor, specializing in concrete finishing. He retired in June, 1993. He was a member of the Bristow Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include his wife, Venice, of the home; a son, Lanny Ross Kincanon, Skiatook; a daughter, Deborah Kincanon Hoskins, Bristow; his mother, Zora Jessie Kincanon, Stephenville, Texas; two brothers, Louis Kincanon, Odessa, and Milton Kincanon, Fort Worth; two sisters, Leitha Simmons, Odessa, and LaVona Snead, Lakeside, Ariz.; and two grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his father in 1982 and a brother, Royce Kincanon, in 1941.
