CLINTON, Okla. - Services for Mrs. Lema R. Jenkins, 76, Clinton, were Saturday at Stanley-Lee Funeral Home, Clinton, with Doyle Kinney officiating. 

She died Thursday following an extended illness. 

She was born July 2, 1912, in Seminole County. She graduated from Seminole High School in 1932. 

She married Wayne Jenkins in 1938 in Oklahoma City. They were in the oilfield business and spent 20 years in the New Orleans area. 

Mrs. Jenkins moved to Clinton in 1969 and worked for Blunck’s Studio. She was a hospital auxiliary volunteer and former Clinton Women of the Year. She also received the Epsilon Sigma Alpha Diana Award at local and state levels. 

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. 

Mrs. Jenkins was preceded in death by her husband in 1969, and one brother, Delton Kever, in 1980. 

Survivors include daughter Mrs. Bill (Paulette) CALKIN of Sapulpa; brother Marc KEVER of Sliver Spring, Md.; sisters Mrs. Jim (Jackie) WHITE of Clinton, Mrs. Bob (Wincil) RYLE of Midwest City, Mrs. Rhie HUDSON of Odessa, Texas, and Mrs. Ina Kever of Houston; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
