Gladys Jenkins, 71, of the Mounds area died Friday in an Oklahoma City hospital. 

Graveside services will be 4 p.m. Monday at Beggs Cemetery with the Rev. Alva Beesley officiating. Arrangements are by Spivey Funeral Home. 

Born Aug. 22, 1917, in Arkanady, Texas, she came to Oklahoma as a child and was married to William D. Jenkins on May 8, 1935, in Pryor, Okla. She was a Baptist. 

Survivors include her husband, William D.; three sons, William D. Jr. of Bristow, Robert J. of Mounds and Paul D. of El Reno, Okla.; two sisters, Retha FULLER of Bakersfield, Calif., Pearl PONDS of Charlotte, N.C., five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
