Bernice Jenkins 
June 18, 1913 -- Dec. 16, 1999 

Bernice Jenkins, 86, of Salida died Thursday at Evergreen Convalescent Hospital, Modesto. 

Mrs. Jenkins was a native of Bristow, Okla. She lived in Salida 63 years. She was a laboratory technician at Tri Valley Growers Plant No. 2 for 37 years. 

She is survived by her children, Roy Wayne Jenkins and Daniel Fletcher Jenkins, both of Modesto; brother, J.B. Maples of Altamont Springs, Fla.; sister, Gladys Roach of Oakdale; and seven grandchildren and 17 
great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Lakewood Funeral Home, Hughson. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Lakewood Memorial Park, Hughson.
