Gelene Alice Jackson, 55, Rt. 2, Sapulpa, died Thursday at St John Medical Center in Tulsa.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 am Monday at Carbondale Assembly of God in Tulsa with Rev. Phil Taylor officiating.

Burial will follow at Okmulgee Cemetery in Okmulgee under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

She was born Feb. 7, 1938, in Kilgore, Texas. A resident of Sapulpa since 1967, she was a secretary for Sapulpa Historical Society for 11 years. Mrs. Jackson was also a member of the Carbondale Assembly of God. She married James Jackson on April 8, 1967, in Durant.

Survivors include her husband, James; parents, Mrs. And Mrs. C.B. Long of Tulsa; son, James Jr. of Sapulpa; daughter, Sherry Renee Hill of Bluejacket; sister, Annette Ryan of Tulsa; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services for Gelene Jackson were held at 10:30 am today, at Carbondale Assembly of God with Rev. Phil Taylor officiating.

Burial followed in the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Serving as casket bearers were Melvin C. Long, Jr., Miles Ralph Long, Ken Blackburn, Chuck Johnson, L.C. Walker and Jerry Tuggle.
