TOPEKA, Kan. - Funeral services were held today for Jackie A. (Jack) Hoss at Newcomer-Diffenderfer Funeral Home in Topeka.

Burial followed at Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka.

Mr. Hoss, 57, of Topeka, died Tuesday at his home.

He was born Aug 20, 1933, in Atoka, and worked for the dietary department at Topeka State Hospital until retiring in March. He lived in Topeka for 18 years and was also a former Oklahoma resident.

He married Barbara Stewart Dec 8, 1968, in Sapulpa.

Survivors include wife, Barbara; son Steve Hoss of Topeka; daughter Susan Hoss of Topeka; stepson Richard Werst of Topeka; brothers Roy Hoss of Winter Park, Fla., Claud Hoss of Burlingame, Kan. and William Hoss of Overbrook, Kan.; sisters Mildred Wilburn of Sapulpa and Ella Richardson of Kellyville; and one grandchild.
