Mr. Wilford W. Horne, 83, of 1310 E. Fairview died today at home.

Services are pending with Smith Funeral Home.

He was born March 6, 1904, in Arkansas and was a disabled army veteran of World War II.

Before retiring, Mr. Horne was superintendent of the National Cemetery in Natchez, Miss. He was a member and former deacon of the First Baptist Church and a member of the Lions Club.

Survivors include wife Donnelle; son Dr. William T. Horne of San Francisco; sister Martha Lou Davis of Arkadelphia, Ark.; and two grandchildren.

Services for Mr. Wilford W. Horne, 1310 E. Fairview, will be 3:30 pm Thursday at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe C. Knowles officiating.

Burial will be at 1:30 pm Friday at Oakhill Cemetery in Booneville, Ark., under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
