Bob Hix, 57, president of the Sierra Construction Co., died Thursday in a local hospital. Services will be noon Monday at the Church of the Resurrection directed by Hahn-Cook, Street & Draper Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sapulpa.

Hix was born in Kiefer and moved to Oklahoma City in the early 1960s. He joined the Gill Construction Co. and was associated with it for 25 years. He attended Oklahoma A&M.

Hix is survived by his wife, Ann; a son, Michael; a daughter, Donna Cordell, Norman; two brothers, Harold of Kermit, Texas, and Richard of Tulsa, and three sisters, Mary Ann Crawford, Sapulpa ; Geanne Hix, Astoria, N.Y., and Linda Wright of Kiefer.

Memorial donations may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
