Former Sapulpa resident Donald Charles Henderson, 74, Dallas, died Aug 30 at his home in Dallas.

Services were Sep 1 at the Ed C. Smith and Brother Funeral Home Chapel in Dallas with the Rev. Clyde Frizzelle officiating.

Burial was at Grove Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Dallas.

Mr. Henderson was born Dec 19, 1915, in Topeka, Kan., graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1933 and worked as a commercial artist and illustrator until his death.

Survivors include wife Earlene; daughters Sherry Seiler and Judy Crowson; sisters Diana Carroll, Dorothy Stover, Dolores Carver, Daphne Diehl and Delaine Erwin; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
